The feeling of being alone against the mysteries of the world is what led me to create Ghostwood. This recipe was inspired by-and for-that world, when the remnants of summer have given way to the bracing turn of winter and darkness lurks just over your firelit shoulders, causing you to smile with a hidden warmth.

Ghostwood began with one bottle: a 90-proof, four-grain bourbon built to balance mild sweetness, deeper spice and a warm, uniquely smooth finish.
Midwestern corn brings the sweetness. Rye adds structure and spice. Red wheat softens the edges with an earthy depth, while malted barley brings the four grains together. The result is a rich, complex bourbon made for slow pours, long stories and whatever waits beyond the edge of the firelight.

Ghostwood’s mash bill was built for balance. Sweetness, spice, earthiness and structure come together in a bourbon greater than any single grain could produce alone.
