When thinking about how I would make a “barrelproof” whiskey, I knew I wanted to create something that accentuated the great Ghostwood flavor, without sacrificing the drinkability. At 114 proof, you are still in the barrel proof territory, however, any whiskey connoisseur will enjoy this neat or on the rocks.
There are a lot of benefits to a barrel proof for an avid whiskey drinker, not the least of which is customizing your preferred proof level. But this higher proof really shows off the mash bill and what these grains really taste like together. Ghostwood Black has been a great experience for me to make, and I hope you enjoy it as well.
