Mushrooms in Ghostwood Sauce

This is a delicious sauce for a steak. We had it over a ribeye and was it ever good. Use about 2 tablespoons of the sauce per steak, so you get the great taste of the steak accented by the sauce.
INGREDIENTS
- 1 lb sliced mushrooms
- 2 tbsp butter
- 2 cloves minced garlic
- 1/3 c chopped onions
- 1/4 c soy sauce
- 1/4 c Ghostwood
- 1/4 c apple cider vinegar
- 1/4 c ketchup
- 1/2 c brown sugar
- 1 tbsp corn starch
- 1/3 c water
INSTRUCTIONS
- In a large skillet, saute mushrooms in butter over medium heat until they are nicely browned.
- Push them to the side of the skillet and add onion; saute for a couple of minutes, until soft. Add garlic and cook for another minute.
- Add soy sauce, Ghostwood, apple cider vinegar, ketchup and brown sugar. Simmer for 5 minutes over medium low heat, stirring occasionally.
- In a bowl, whisk the corn starch and water until combined. Add to the mushrooms and heat until thickened.
